My Dry Eyes for 40 years are now over

5 star rating in each category!!!! After having dry eyes for almost 40 years, and being recommended to use over the counter eye drops (only clear advice to stay away from Visine), I never realized it is truly an eye disorder that no physician has ever addressed……until Dr. Tom.
When I phoned to inquire about the services and inquiring about insurance coverage, Dr. Tom returned the call personally & spend quite a bit of time in conversation. I made an appointment & was given several eye tests by Dr. Tom (only one test which was ever administrated before & without even a direction to proceed), all of which clearly outlined my present eye condition. Dr. Tom then formulated a plan to treat my chronic condition over several months. I am so grateful I looked for a practice dedicated to Dry Eye Disease and found this unique one. Dr. Tom goes overboard with compassion, caring & humor (even phoning from a remote location to check on my initial treatment results). I can not say enough about the staff – they make you feel very welcome at each visit and focus solely on you when you are working with them. Highly recommend The Dry Eye Institute!

I no longer suffer from dry eye

Dr. Thomas Azman and The Dry Eye Institute made a huge difference in my life. I no longer suffer from dry eye and my vision is clearer. My eyes are comfortable and no longer an issue. Dr. Azman is the kindest, most genuine Doctor I have ever met. He goes out of his way to make sure you understand everything and to make sure you are at ease. His staff is professional and courteous. I have been seeing Dr. Azman for quite some time, for dry eyes as well as lasik surgery follow ups. Personally I have tremendous problems with my dry eyes and occasional eye infections and Dr. Tom has always been right on with his treatment plan and resolves the issue quickly and professionally. He is one of the few doctors who follow up on you after your visits. I find this quite remarkable. I would recommend Dr. Tom and Dr. Irwin to anyone who needs any kind of vision care. Their staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and always ready to help answer any questions.

I have been under Dr. Azman’s treatment for my dry eyes. He is very attentive and thorough – always giving detailed explanations and answering all my questions in a way that I am able to fully understand. Dr. Azman also contacts me if there is a new treatment or medication that he feels would improve my condition. I will admit that sometimes there is an extensive wait in the office, but I can only assume he is giving other patients the same detailed care that he is giving me! I have tried contact lenses on four different occasions, without success, before I visited Dr. Azman. Although other doctors had told me I had dry eyes, their solution was to simply prescribe a different brand of contact lens rather than to address the underlying problem. On each occasion, the end result was that the lenses bothered me so much that I just stopped wearing them.
